Eng. Sadiq Syed

Chairman, KIDA

Eng. Sadiq Syed is an accomplished engineering professional and Chairman of KIDA, bringing extensive global experience in design, infrastructure, and large-scale project execution.

He is an alumnus of Kibabii High School, having completed his secondary education in 1982 (Form 6, MPC stream).He currently serves as Executive Director — Design & Engineering for Expo Riyadh 2030, where he plays a strategic leadership role in delivering complex, world-class infrastructure and engineering solutions.Eng. Syed is deeply passionate about engineering and technology systems that drive efficiency, innovation, and sustainable development.

As Chairman of KIDA, he provides visionary leadership, fostering collaboration within the alumni network and supporting initiatives that advance education, mentorship, and institutional growth

Louis Nyukuri

Secretary General, KIDA

Louis is a Program Officer with PATH Kenya. He is an alumnus of Kibabii High School from the class of 2006 and Kenyatta University , 2012 from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Public Health.

Louis has a vast knowledge and experience in prevention, care and treatment of HIV and associated comorbidities.

As Secretary General of KIDA, he is driven by a strong vision of a better Kibabii High School with modern infrastructure and facilities.

His contribution towards a stable KIDA is testament to the fire that burns in him for St. Mary's Kibabii National School.

Jesse Mabongah

Treasurer, KIDA

Jesse Mabongah is an education professional and development practitioner currently serving as Treasurer of the Kibabii Development Association (KIDA).

He is an alumnus of Kibabii high school, 2005 and a graduate of Kenyatta University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

He has extensive experience supporting nationwide literacy education programs in Kenya, with a strong commitment to advancing Kibabii education and community development.

Jesse is passionate about mentorship and is committed to supporting learners to realize their full potential both socially and in their early careers.

Moses Wanami

Organizing Secretary, KIDA

Moses Wanami is a dedicated social sector professional and the Organizing Secretary of KIDA.

He is an alumnus of Kibabii High School, where he completed his secondary education in 1998, and holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Nairobi, pursued while working.

Over the past I6 years, Moses has worked with prominent organizations across the social development space, including British Council, RTI International, ADEO (UNHCR), IPAS African Alliance, Aga Khan University, Mary’s Meals, Cowater under Global Affairs Canada, Camber Collective, Institute of Peace and Reporting, Plan International, and currently with Toyota Foundation (CFAO Mobility CSR initiative).

He is deeply passionate about welfare, social justice, and creating inclusive systems that uplift communities. In his role at KIDA, Moses champions initiatives that strengthen alumni engagement, promote social responsibility, and advance the welfare of students and teachers.

Philip Wandiba

Secretary, Networking and Alumni Welfare, KIDA

Philip Wandiba is a seasoned entrepreneur and education professional, serving as Secretary for Networking and Alumni Welfare at KIDA.

He is an alumnus of Kibabii High School, where he completed his secondary education in 1992, and holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) in Mathematics and Chemistry from Egerton University, as well as an MBA in Marketing from the University of Nairobi.

Philip is the founder and Managing Director of Pulse Healthcare Limited, a leading medical devices company.

His company imports and distributes medical devices, supplies, plants, and systems across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Somalia, and Rwanda, with its headquarters in Kilimani, Nairobi.Passionate about fostering strong networks and supporting alumni and professional communities, Philip leverages his business and educational expertise to create platforms that enhance collaboration, mentorship, and welfare initiatives within KIDA.

Rodgers Watitwa

Secretary, Students and Teachers Welfare, KIDA

Secretary, Students and Teachers Welfare, KIDA

Rodgers Watitwa is a trained teacher by profession currently serving as Deputy Head of Institution.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Education (English Literature) from Mount Kenya University. He is an alumnus of Kibabii High School, 2004.

Rodgers brings a strong passion for education, mentorship, and learner well-being, with a particular focus on fostering supportive environments for both students and educators.

In his current role as Secretary in charge of Students and Teachers Welfare at KIDA, he is instrumental in championing initiatives that promote holistic support systems, engagement, and welfare-driven programs within the alumni and education community.

He is committed to strengthening collaboration among stakeholders to enhance the academic and social outcomes of learners.

Graham Waliaula Soita

Secretary Infrastructure and Development, KIDA

Graham is an Advocate of the High Court and a business man. He s an alumnus of Kibabii, where he completed his A- Level studies in 1986. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from The University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Business Administration from USIU-Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Graham has been a banker with 11 year experience at The Co-operative Bank of Kenya. He is also an astute business man and also an Advocate of the High Court.
