About KIDA
The Kibabiians Development Association is the official alumni body of Kibabii High School — a lifelong community of leaders, professionals, and changemakers.
Our Story
Since 1998, KIDA has united generations of Kibabii High School graduates under one banner — “Advancing our Prosperity.” What began as informal reunions among former students has grown into a structured association with county chapters, a diaspora network, scholarship programmes, and a growing digital community connecting Kibabiians across the world.

To be the leading alumni association in Kenya, empowering Kibabiians to achieve excellence and give back to their community.
Mission
To connect, develop, and mobilize Kibabii High School alumni for lifelong networking, mentorship, and the sustained growth of our alma mater.
Objectives
Strengthen alumni networks, support scholarships and school infrastructure, promote mentorship, and champion the achievements of Kibabiians everywhere.
Our Journey
Four Decades of Legacy
- 1985
Kibabii High School Founded
The institution opens its doors in Bungoma County, setting the foundation for generations of leaders.
- 1998
KIDA Established
Alumni formally organize as the Kibabiians Development Association to support their alma mater.
- 2006
First Scholarship Fund
KIDA launches its first bursary programme for needy students at Kibabii High School.
- 2014
County & Diaspora Chapters
Regional and international chapters form, extending the KIDA network across Kenya and abroad.
- 2026
The Digital KIDA Platform
A world-class alumni portal launches — networking, mentorship, and giving in one place.
